JOB PURPOSE To support the planning, design, construction, supervision, and maintenance of civil infrastructure and building projects across the Company’s terminals, LPG plants, depots, offices, and other engineering facilities. The role provides practical exposure to project management, construction supervision, cost management, and infrastructure development within the downstream oil and gas industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring civil and infrastructure projects. • Support site supervision to ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. • Participate in project inspections and progress meetings. • Monitor contractor performance and report project progress. • Assist in supervising building construction, renovation, and maintenance works. • Support inspections to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Company standards. • Monitor the quality and progress of building works. • Assist in reviewing architectural drawings and construction layouts. • Support space planning and office fit-out projects. • Participate in site inspections to ensure architectural designs are properly implemented. • Assist in coordinating architectural documentation and project approvals. • Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and material schedules. • Support project cost monitoring and the valuation of completed works. • Assist in verifying contractors’ payment certificates and project variations. • Participate in procurement planning and material cost analysis. • Maintain project documentation, engineering drawings, and site records. • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environment policies and procedures during construction activities. • Perform other duties assigned by the Projects Manager or Engineering Manager. QUALIFICATIONS AND ELIGIBILITY • Must be eligible for the National Service Programme. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS • Strong interest in construction, infrastructure development, and engineering projects. • Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and construction methods. • Basic understanding of project management principles. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability and willingness to work on construction sites and in operational environments. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams and contractors.
