You will be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and engage with the latest software technologies. You will also be part of a cross-functional team working in an Agile, highly collaborative, cross-functional environment in which we strive to build quality into every step of the delivery process.</p> <p>This role emphasizes teamwork, process improvement, and shared ownership. The ideal candidate is innovative, results-driven, proactive, and an effective communicator with a mix of curiosity and passion for satellite technologies.&nbsp;</p> <p>This is a part-time, in-office position based in our Berlin office approximately 3 days per week.</p> <p><strong>Impact You’ll Own:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis to deployment, including planning, feature implementation, test automation.</li> <li>Contribute to maintenance and improvement of existing tools and test automation frameworks, microservice applications and test data management.</li> <li>Support internal workflows and prepare documentation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Python or Javascript/Typescript.</li> <li>Tech savvy: eager to learn new technologies and skills.</li> <li>Ability to work in a dynamic team environment.</li> <li>Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems from multiple angles.&nbsp;</li> <li>Professional working proficiency in English, the language of the company.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Makes You Stand Out:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Development background using Python, Javascript, Typescript, Git.</li> <li>Web Application development experience.</li> <li>Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts.</li> <li>Familiarity with testing practices, API testing and Python (pytest)..</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Deadline:</strong></p> <p>September 7, 2026 by 11:59p / 23:59 CET (Central European Time)</p> <p><strong>Export Control Requirements:</strong></p> <p><em>Planet Labs Germany GmbH is authorized to receive U.S. export-controlled information at Planet under an export license issued by the Bureau of Industry and Security.
